 Happy is a beautiful mare, she has a pretty face and a kind eye. ​Happy has settled in well to her new life. She likes her paddock neighbours, understands barn routine and is very co-operative and easy going for barn staff. She is a clever and pretty girl who likes to learn and tries hard for us. Her ground manners have improved a lot and she enjoys going for neighbourhood walks. She is quite good with dogs, trucks, cars and boats. She loves a deep groom (even likes to be curry combed over her ears!) and is good to pick out all four feet. She needs to learn to relax a bit more while being tacked up but stands nicely to be mounted. She accepts the leg well and now has a woah and even a back up. She is quite green under saddle in the arena and we are working on balance with her, especially on a circle. At this stage Happy would only be suitable for a trainer or very experienced rider to bring along, not because of any behavioural issues but simply because she is very green and needs more time.
