Henry is back with us at New Stride. He is a nice mover and is very sweet and affectionate. We are in the process of restarting him. Although green and needing a refresher on steering and brakes he has a great mind. He loves the company of other horses and gets along well with horse friends.
New Stride always places consideration of what is best for the horse as the priority in deciding whether or not to take back into its care a previously adopted horse during or after the expiration of the one-year monitoring period. Whether the situation involves the poor treatment of a horse or the absence of a best effort to train and care for it, New Stride retains the right to take a previously adopted horse back into its care, even though it does not have an obligation to do so.
At this time we are showing Henry to experienced and qualified applicants, although not necessarily in the under saddle phase. Please check back periodically for more updates.
