Woody had 40 starts with 4 wins, 10 place and 8 show (3rd) over four years and earned almost $117,00, until a racing injury ended his career. After he was rested and rehabilitated his ever exuberant and playful character landed him with a kick to the hock while out playing with his pals.He then had surgery to remove a chip, after which he successfully completed a rest and rehabilitation program in the spring of 2016. He has been given a clean bill of health and is ready to find his permanent home.  He is very sweet to groom, is excellent for the vet and farrier and has good strong hooves.  He gets on well with other horses and loves his people.  He is very clever and would do well with a somone who enjoys groundwork, in hand trail and games to keep his mind busy. He has a post race track riding record but during the last year hasn't  been comfortable under saddle .  Woody will also be very happy as a companion horse, turned out on acreage with friends to play with.
