Volunteering with New Stride

Here's your opportunity to ensure that our beautiful Thoroughbreds find loving, adoptive homes after their racing days are over. Consider volunteering some time to New Stride. You'll meet some great people and have an opportunity to interact with our extraordinary horses. Our volunteers do any and all of the following tasks:

• Grooming
• Ground work - longeing, ground manners, handling
• Training under saddle
• Injury care and rehabilitation
• Providing foster homes for horses in need

We currently need volunteers at our foster farms in Chilliwack, Langley and Abbotsford. If you have a special skill with horses and would like to share an hour or two (or more!) a week, please contact our volunteer coordinators:
