We call him Catch, for some reason it seems to have stuck, he was 'Sunny' at track, for his sunny disposition.. Catch had a minor tendon injury which ended his racing career. Lucky for New Stride, we got another lovely horse. While Catch was resting we did  ground work  in preparation for riding . Catch is a smart horse, he is learning new concepts quite quickly, he's catching on to clicker training exceptionally quickly.  Catch has progressed from 'kindergarten'  recently and is now under saddle. He needs some time to develop skills and fitness but is coming along very nicely and really seems to enjoy getting out to work. He's had an introduction to long lining and is now being ridden at walk, trot, and canter. Catch is a big boy and he knows it! He is  a horse for a confident, fit and experienced rider. He is himself a confident horse, whether out on the trail or in the arena, willing to learn but needing a rider of equal character. Check back here and on our Facebook page for updates.
