Doc is quite new to New Stride and we are just getting to know him, but he seems to be the type of horse who just wants to do things right. Doc is very polite with treats and will gently lip them out of your hand. He stands nicely to be groomed and tacked up and he is learning to ground tie. Under saddle we have done walk and trot with him so far and he has comfortable gaits and wonderfully smooth and light down transitions. Although still very green, we have cantered Doc a bit. He takes both leads nicely and is very comfortable, still very light in the hand even at the canter in the arena. Doc also enjoys hacks out around the farm with a buddy.
