GIgi loves attention. She is kind, a funny character and is very clever. Gigi is lovely to work with, enjoys grooming, picks her feet up well, is good for the farrier and vet, and quite happy to hang out with her humans at the barn. She doesn't mind training sessions with other horses in the arena and is also fine when horses enter or leave.  We have been doing ground work with her to prepare her for success in her new post track life. She stands well at the mounting block and is quite happy to 'hang out' while other horses work.  Gigi has a great walk and an athletic over step, her trot is light and springy, she has a lovely shoulder and is a good mover. We are currently riding her at walk, trot and canter, working on transitions and and ground poles. Gigi is well balanced, learns quickly, is very athletic and has power in her strides.  She tries hard and listens well when asked to slow her pace. She is learning what whoa means, she's very clever! Gigi is learning to soften in her jaw and supple throught her body while being ridden. She's not short on character and has a great forelock and tail too!! In short, a great vintage,with underlying tones of 'sweet as peaches', Border Collie savy and sports car like potential, a lovely mare for sure. She has in the past been turned out with a couple of other mares. We are now showing Gigi to advanced riders with experience handling and riding OTTBs.
