Buckwheat is a sweetheart, he whinnies to us when out in the paddock and we call his name. He loves attention, treats, rolling in the soft ground, more than one person grooming him, going out for a hand graze, and just being the center of attention. He's settled in well and we have started his re-training to teach him what he needs to know for his post racing life. He's happy to learn, has been quite relaxed, and seems to accept his new adventures. He stands well at the mounting block.
