 Jumpers, barrels or polo anyone? This sporty little number is very people oriented, she enjoys her training sessions, being with us and loves to be groomed. Sakura retired sound from racing, she just wasn't fast enough. She is a good mover, high energy, athletic, clever and learns quickly. We are starting with ground work, installing whoa and steering while she settles in with us, giving her time to learn about her new career. Sakura really enjoys spending time with her humans. We are now riding her at walk and trot under saddle in the arena, working on steering as well as up and down transitions. We have just recently added canter to her retraining sessions, she is very sensible and progressing well. She has a soft mouth, a good whoa, even at this early stage Sakura shows a good work ethic and she loves the trails.Sakura is a bold, confident mare, she doesn't seem to mind walking through water or beside the cow pens around the barn. As of May 8, 2018 we are showing Sakura  on a limited basis to serious potential adopters experienced with OTTBs and starting horses.
